I found this very interesting, before watching this I never knew about Bechdel Testing ever. I like that you used visuals so we knew what you were talking about. Now when i watch movies I'm going to be look for this!
Cassidy, This was a fantastic vlog that highlighted both an important aspect of popular culture an your editing skills. The Bechdel Test is such a simple yet telling way to gain insight into the lack of female representation in the media. Well done! Just don't cut off your head so much - you need more headroom otherwise it can give the audience a sense of claustrophobia when looking at the video. This doesn't mean you can't cut your head off at all as an artistic choice I get it, just raise the camera a little and it will do wonders, trust me I teach a class in media aesthetics :)
I thought this was very well done and now I am going to think about this test every time I watch a movie. Thanks for the insight!
